Volunteer awards & opportunities

WMK is committed to see that all their volunteers enjoy their time while working and volunteering in Pokot.We will do our best to make you feel at home. If you are looking to utilize your skills and experience or is passionate to learn new culture and share your experience and stories and make a difference in the lives of others then WMK is the place for you. Our flexible programme allows you to commit a minimum of two or maximum of twelve months. We would love to hear from you. In return, we can offer varied and interesting assignments; opportunities to develop new skills and experience. At the end of your volunteer assignment, we will award you a WMK volunteer recognition certificate signed by the directors in Kenya and USA and also a gift. We will also offer an opportunity to act as WMK ambassador back at home. As the WMK ambassador, you will spread the word about the organization in churches, schools colleges and universities. Each year the board and staff will vote to select the best volunteer who earn the prestigious volunteer of the year certificate and also get the opportunity to sit in board meetings and also act as adviser to the board.
